Online Marketing Techniques That Didn’t Exist Five Years Ago
If you can’t marketing your product/business/idea, you’ve got nothing. What’s amazing is that the internet has completely changed the way we can test markets, test ads and campaigns, and measure results from what we are doing. If you give me a headline you’re thinking of using, within a few days (and for a low budget) I can tell you how successful it will be.
No longer do you have to buy a commercial, radio spot, billboard, or direct mail piece to reach your audience.
The internet allows us to laser target the EXACT people we want and begin to build a relationship with them. It’s really amazing… the problem is that most people are too busy running their business to take the time to learn how to market it. So here’s how I’ve helped people:
- Teaching people how to build their current customers into passive income streams online
- Designing websites that make money for businesses instead of ‘looking good’
- Teaching business owners about dozens of websites that can help market their business, reduce their expenses, and reduce the number of headaches they have from technology
I help entrepreneurs build passive income streams by launching their businesses online. Because these generally take up a lot of time and energy, I only work with a few clients at a time. If you might be interested or want to learn more, click here to apply. The last launch I did created a passive revenue stream of $6000/month off of an email list of 2500 people… That all happened within six weeks of the day I took the client on board.
Clients range in size and shape. Here are a couple examples:
- Tim was a blogger who writes about marketing handmade goods online. He wasn’t making any money but had an email list of about 3000 people and blog that about 2000 people subscribed to.
- Eric spent a lot of time and money building a web application for photographers, but had no way to get his message out. We’re working together to build his email list and launch the product properly.
- Jim has over 30 years of experience working on tax returns for companies. We’re educating people on how to save money by structuring their company correctly.
- Beth owns a company that does tech support for people who have little to no understanding of how computers work. We are working together to offer a package that people will pay her monthly for instead of only when they have a problem.

Web Design That Will Make You Money Instead Of “Looking Good”
Most web designers suck because they are all about designing something pretty… and not about building something that will make you money. Want to know if you have a good web designer? Ask them this one question: “What is the one reason I should build a website?”
Answers that 95% of designers will give you:
- To establish your online presence
- To interact with your customers
- To teach potential clients a little bit about you
- To inform people what services or products you offer
- To allow people to search for your company online
Bullshit. If your designer doesn’t answer with: ”to generate revenue”, then you should fire them right now.
Websites should be designed to increase your income. Period. There are strategies to do that and there is more psychology behind building a good website than you probably realize. Design is not about making things look pretty. Good design is about using a combination of psychology and statistics to determine what design will lead to the most revenue.
Take a look at the home page of my business website. It is designed to follow the “F Pattern” that our eyes have been trained to follow when reading sites online.

There is a headline designed to grab your attention. (More time, money, and freedom.) Then I have a video (which is more likely to keep people on the page longer) that has a call to action to sign up for the free report I’ve created. (The goal of my site is to get you on my email list.)
The reason I’ve put the report there is because I know if you sign up for my email list, I’ll be able to continue to give you more valuable content. As I continue to deliver valuable content to you… sooner or later you’re going to have a problem or question about building an online business. And I’ll be the person you go to for help.
That information is the difference between hiring someone to “design” you a website versus hiring someone to build you a website that builds your business.
Speaking, Training, and Workshops
There is nothing more painful than listening to a speaker who just doesn’t ‘get it.’ There’s no doubt that you’ve heard them before. They’ll lecture for an hour while the audience slowly begins to slip away… day dreaming instead of paying attention.
I hate that.
I’m pretty sure I have some kind of A.D.D. and if the presentation isn’t interesting, there’s no way I’m paying attention. This makes me craft my presentations in a very special way. I’m I have a strong belief that all presentations should incorporate three things:
- Education
- Interaction
- Entertainment
Education makes sure the audience learns something new… If there’s no element of education, the presentation is waste of time. Interaction forces people to pay attention, even if they don’t want to. You can’t doze off when the speaker is picking people to volunteer. And lastly, entertainment. Presentations are meant to be fun. If the audience is laughing… you know that they are listening.
If the audience isn’t having a good time, then I’m not having fun. Period.
Your group/employees/audience will walk away with a new appreciation for technology with ACTIONABLE steps they can use the moment they walk out of the door. Steps that wil *instantly* let them see a difference in their levels of productivity.
I’ve spoken to numerous organizations and groups, ranging from a 1000+ person nation-wide webcast… all the way down to a small group of CIO’s for a Fortune 250 company.
My three most requested programs are:
- Social Media 101: The Basics - This presentation is great for what I call “Digital Immigrants”; people who haven’t grown up with technology, but want to learn more about it. It’s designed to teach those people why this tools are such a big deal and the first steps they can take to easily transition to the social media world.
- Increasing Productivity With Social Media - This is my most requested program. This presentation has been given to audiences as large as 1000+ people across the nation, all the way down to a small team of ten people within an organization. Whether the audience is a beginner or a veteran, they will walk out of the room with a list of ACTIONABLE steps they can take to be more productive using new technology.
- Landing Your Dream Job Through Social Media - This presentation spans a wide range of people, ranging from seasoned professionals to college students looking to start their career. In this session, participants learn why the ‘traditional’ job search is dying and the HUGE advantage social media can give applicants. This program is a MUST for anyone searching for a career change or fresh start.
